Illustrated Posts

This blog was once stupidly called Obscurity and a Competence. It began as a series of illustrated essays inspired by Hyperbole and a Half, Books of Adam, and The Oatmeal among others.

The better I got at creating these illustrations, the more time and effort it took for the posts to reach the quality I wanted. (That's not to say I ever got, like...good at drawing, just that I improved on where I started, which was pretty abysmal.) When that started taking more time than I had, I shifted gears to a more general blog to discuss whatever is on my mind.

Below are the illustrated posts I made before I finally gave up the ghost. They're here more for archival purposes than anything else: it is, afterall, why I started this blog. Please to be enjoying them if you wish.
